Our Mission

Back to the Basics

At BABBO, we want to make better Italian food the new standard.
It starts with educating consumers and building a short, local, and sustainable supply chain.

By choosing authentic grains, supporting sustainable farming, and working directly with farmers, we bring food back to its roots: pure, nutritious, and full of real flavor.

A short supply chain means:

  • Less waste

  • More transparency

  • Farmers who directly benefit as demand for better products grows

Our mission is simple:

Education
Help consumers understand where their food comes from, what it truly costs, and how it should taste.

Transparency
Support local organic production within Europe.

Quality
Prioritize nutritional value and authentic flavors without compromise.

It Must, and Can, Be Better

Today, supermarkets are full of so-called "Italian" products made from cheap ingredients, loaded with pesticides, imported from across the world, and produced in ways that strip away taste and nutrition.

The younger generation rarely gets the chance to experience what real good food actually tastes like.

We’re doing it differently.
Across Europe, farmers are working hard every day to care for their land and grow real, honest food that’s good for your body and the planet.

Step by step, we’re building a short, transparent supply chain where taste, nutrition, and honesty come first again.

By showing consumers where their Italian food truly comes from, we’re helping build a better system for the long term.
